Outbound Referral Advisor – Customer Sales Role

About the role

OUTsurance, a prominent player in the South African insurance landscape, is seeking a driven and customer‑focused Outbound Referral Advisor to join its team in Centurion. The role is pivotal in expanding the client base by proactively reaching out to potential customers and converting leads into sales.

Key responsibilities

• Sales Conversion – proactively contact potential clients to convert leads and quotes into sales, meeting quantity and quality targets.
• Customer Engagement – interact telephonically with prospects, build rapport and articulate the advantages of OUTsurance’s insurance solutions.
• Product Expertise – maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products and services to provide accurate advice.
• Persuasion and Closing – employ effective persuasion techniques to close sales while adhering to quality assurance measures.
• Professional Communication – handle all customer interactions, including calls and emails, in a polite, professional, and timely manner.
• Performance Monitoring – work towards individual and team objectives, taking ownership of sales results.
• Team Collaboration – function as a supportive team player contributing to collective organisational goals.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• FAIS Regulatory Examination (RE) qualification.
• Previous call‑centre or telesales experience.
• Prior experience in the short‑term insurance industry is an advantage.

• Relevant professional qualification aligned with advisory roles is advantageous.
