Outbound Call Centre Agent – Portuguese Speaking (Fixed‑term)

About the role

We are looking for an outgoing, Portuguese‑speaking Call Centre Agent to join our outbound sales team on a fixed‑term basis at our Makro store in Mbombela. The role involves contacting existing and potential customers, taking orders and providing up‑to‑date product information while delivering a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to recruit new customers and grow spend of existing customers in Mozambique and South Africa.
• Handle inbound telephone, fax and email orders efficiently.
• Maintain accurate product knowledge and keep customers informed about promotions and new items.
• Perform daily and monthly reporting on sales performance and new customer acquisition.
• Enter orders and update customer records in the system.
• Collaborate with team members and manage personal workload to meet quality standards.

Required profile

• Matric (high school) qualification.
• 1–2 years of customer service or sales experience.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
