Outbound Call Centre Agent – Commercial Operations

About the role

The Outbound Call Centre Agent – Commercial Operations conducts detailed business interviews to collect financial and operational data for credit reporting. The role is focused on generating revenue by ensuring accurate, up‑to‑date commercial information and educating stakeholders on its value.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to businesses to gather, verify and update financial and operational information.
• Conduct comprehensive interviews, capture data in company systems and perform quality checks.
• Educate business owners on the importance of accurate credit profiles and promote commercial credit products.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly productivity, quality and performance targets.
• Handle customer queries, resolve data‑accuracy concerns and maintain professional relationships with key decision‑makers.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of customer service or inbound call‑centre experience, preferably with knowledge of FRCA regulations.
• Strong business acumen, active listening, patience and the ability to manage escalated emotions.
• Highly detailed, organized and able to manage multiple high‑priority tasks.
• Fluent English (both spoken and written) and a secondary language for a specific region.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office.
• Ability to navigate web‑based applications and the internet efficiently.
