Outbound B2B Sales Executive

About the role

Bluegrass Digital is seeking an energetic Business Development Representative to generate qualified introductory meetings with organisations that match its ideal client profile. This junior outbound sales role focuses on researching prospects, initiating conversations and securing meetings for the senior commercial team.

Key responsibilities

• Research target companies across South Africa, Europe and the US that fit the defined ideal client profile.
• Identify and engage technology, digital, product, engineering, delivery, procurement and business decision‑makers via phone, personalised email and LinkedIn.
• Build and maintain accurate prospect and contact lists in a structured manner.
• Run consistent outbound prospecting, qualify leads and arrange discovery meetings for the commercial team.
• Record all activity, outcomes and next actions in the CRM and report on activity, meetings and pipeline contribution.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in outbound B2B sales, telesales, appointment setting or lead generation.
• Confidence speaking to business decision‑makers by telephone and writing professional outreach messages.
• Strong organisation, persistence and follow‑up discipline with a focus on measurable activity.
• Ability to research companies and contacts independently based on an ideal client profile.

Required skills

• Experience using a CRM (e.g., Pipedrive).
• Proficiency with LinkedIn outreach and prospecting tools (e.g., Surfe).
