Organic Social Lead (Remote, SAST Hours)

About the role

We are seeking an Organic Social Lead to own and scale the organic social media strategy for a South‑African client. The role is fully remote and focuses on driving brand awareness, audience engagement and revenue through high‑performing organic content across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the organic social media strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Manage organic channels on Meta, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest.
• Translate commercial goals into engaging content campaigns.
• Build and oversee a network of creators, freelancers and AI tools to produce high‑quality content.
• Create scalable processes for testing and scaling successful content formats.
• Monitor performance metrics and continuously optimise strategy.
• Ensure content drives brand awareness, engagement and commercial outcomes.
• Oversee or contribute to video and image editing to maintain quality.
• Manage multiple projects, priorities and content calendars effectively.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing and executing successful organic social media strategies.
• Strong understanding of Meta, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest algorithms, trends and best practices.
• Data‑driven mindset with ability to analyse performance metrics.
• Excellent project management, organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Commercially minded, proactive and hands‑on approach.
• Positive, ambitious, solution‑oriented and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong ownership mentality with confidence to challenge ideas and collaborate effectively.
