Optical Sales Representative – Cape Town

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, results‑driven Optical Sales Representative to join our Cape Town team. You will manage an existing customer base, develop new business opportunities and represent our optical brand across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing customer base.
• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities.
• Conduct regular customer visits throughout Cape Town and surrounding areas.
• Promote and sell company optical products and services.
• Build and maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Follow up on quotations, orders and outstanding sales opportunities.
• Provide professional after‑sales service and maintain regular communication with customers.
• Monitor market trends and provide accurate sales activity and market feedback reports.

Required profile

• Previous sales experience (essential).
• Optical industry experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Professional, confident and well‑presented appearance.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Good knowledge of Cape Town and surrounding areas.
• Strong customer‑service and relationship‑building abilities.
