About the role
An established private optometric practice in Pretoria East is seeking a warm, professional, and experienced Optical Assistant to join its team. The ideal candidate is honest, hardworking and reliable, capable of working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities. Confidence in dealing with patients, excellent communication skills, and fluency in both Afrikaans and English are essential to ensure a welcoming environment. The role includes front‑line optical duties, supporting the practice’s day‑to‑day operations. The practice offers excellent working hours within a professional, patient‑focused setting. Fluency in Afrikaans and English enables effective communication with a diverse patient base. Candidates with experience using the Eminance software will be considered advantageous. Applicants should hold at least a Grade 12 qualification and have prior optical experience.
