Ops Specialist – Billing Operations

About the role

The Ops Specialist – Billing Operations will support the execution of Openserve's billing cycle and provide customer assistance for billing issues. You will help analyse revenue and billing processes, ensuring revenue assurance and a positive customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in driving Openserve billing cycles and related processes.
• Validate invoicing, statement generation and distribution.
• Evaluate invoice layout queries and continuously improve invoice design.
• Implement invoice and billing change requests.
• Provide management reports and validate revenue and billing KPIs.
• Maintain information systems and ensure data integrity.
• Coordinate inputs, generate performance reports and take corrective actions.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.

Required profile

• National Diploma/Advanced Diploma (NQF 6) or School Leaving Qualification (NQF 4).
• 3 years of relevant experience (or 5 years for senior‑level exposure).
• Demonstrated personal leadership qualities such as embracing change, positive thinking, composure, teamwork and alignment with Openserve values.
