Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead all manufacturing, production and operational functions within our food manufacturing facility, ensuring that production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and in full compliance with food‑safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on leadership to production, maintenance, logistics and quality teams, translating business objectives into actionable operational plans.
• Manage operational budgets, monitor costs and implement cost‑saving initiatives while maintaining product quality.
• Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000 standards and oversee health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Track, analyse and report key operational metrics, delivering data‑driven insights to senior management.
• Lead, mentor and develop staff to foster a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on leadership experience in a food‑manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of HACCP, ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000 food‑safety standards.
• Ability to manage operational budgets and drive efficiency improvements.
• Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
