Operations Change & Delivery Specialist

About the role

The Operations Change & Delivery Specialist coordinates operational technology initiatives from requirement clarification through development, testing, rollout and post‑implementation review. This role acts as the Operations voice for technology change, ensuring clear requirements, ownership, deadlines and controlled rollouts.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a complete register of Operations‑related ICT projects, tracking status, priority, blockers and next actions.
• Serve as the primary Operations liaison with ICT project teams, ensuring operational priorities and timelines are documented and followed.
• Gather structured feedback from department heads, consolidate into actions and escalations to keep projects aligned with operational needs.
• Track deadlines, milestones, testing windows and rollout dates, proactively escalating any slippage.
• Coordinate business requirements gathering, ensuring clarity and prioritisation before ICT development.
• Manage user acceptance testing, release readiness, business sign‑off, training and controlled production rollout.
• Maintain visibility of operational risks, dependencies and resource constraints, escalating with proposed resolutions.
• Prepare concise status reports for management and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in fund administration, investment operations or fund services.
• Proven ability to operate at a senior level within an operations function, taking ownership of deliverables and driving outcomes through collaboration.
• Strong understanding of investment operations processes, controls and service delivery in a regulated financial environment.
• Demonstrated capability to coordinate, prioritise and oversee operational activities while maintaining high accuracy and client service.
• Relevant financial qualification or postgraduate qualification.
