Operations Analyst

About the role

Join a finance‑focused operations team responsible for the full lifecycle of Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) deals. You will ensure data accuracy across Salesforce and Sage from prefunding through to post‑funding reconciliation, while supporting reporting and stakeholder communication.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify client agreements for completeness and compliance.
• Capture and maintain deal information accurately in Salesforce.
• Open and manage holding accounts, setting up split arrangements for correct fund allocation.
• Validate operational and financial configurations in Salesforce before funding.
• Conduct final quality checks to ensure deals are funding‑ready with zero discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve post‑funding issues, including payment discrepancies and operational errors.
• Monitor and maintain system data accuracy throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Report system issues or bugs to the technology team.
• Handle client complaints and queries related to funding, payments, or account setup.
• Reconcile loan balances between Salesforce and Sage regularly.
• Build and maintain reports to proactively monitor discrepancies.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies.
• Effective communication skills for handling client queries and internal reporting.
• Experience working with financial operations or similar processes.
