Operations Administrator – Procurement & Contracts

About the role

neXgro is seeking an Operations Administrator to support the Producers department of its marketing division. The role involves managing procurement contracts, processing daily transactions, and handling farmer inquiries within the company’s grain‑related services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer all procurement contracts from initiation to conclusion.
• Process daily transactions on the JSE and perform hedge checks.
• Audit and review previous day’s transactions.
• Handle farmer inquiries and respond promptly.
• Manage unknown reports and ensure on‑time payments.
• Administer G9 contracts, transaction confirmations and onboarding documents.
• Send follow‑ups on unsigned contracts and high‑oil Suns IP contracting.
• Correct contracts and maintain allocations to avoid late payments.
• Price unpriced contracts and reconcile transactions and payments.
• Provide feedback on risk‑management inquiries and ensure smooth payment flow.
• Load planned LMS onto the LMS system daily and assist marketers with LMS load management.

Required profile

• Matric, Diploma or Degree preferred; grain logistics experience beneficial.
• Strong communication skills in Afrikaans and English.
• Highly motivated, good with numbers and meticulous attention to detail.
• Problem‑solving ability, professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Leadership and team‑management capability.
• High accountability and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
