Open-Source Intelligence Specialist

About the role

Lead and coordinate the technical execution of highly complex open-source aggregation and analysis to support the detection, investigation and prosecution of financial crimes. The role involves gathering, analysing and transforming open-source intelligence into strategic intelligence and evidence products for the Monitoring and Analysis division.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagements with business units and external stakeholders to scope project requirements and gather complex financial intelligence from advanced open-source platforms.
• Perform advanced blockchain analysis, link‑chart analysis and visualisation to produce actionable insights for strategic intelligence.
• Apply predictive tools and artificial intelligence platforms on open‑source data to generate key insights and predictive inferences.
• Conduct end‑to‑end research from multi‑source data, interpret findings and provide expert inferences for proactive intelligence gathering.
• Produce complex intelligence and evidence reports for law‑enforcement stakeholders, ensuring compliance with legislation and admissibility standards.
• Present technical open‑source findings to relevant audiences and support legal proceedings, including affidavit preparation and court testimony.
• Implement quality checks, validation processes and data governance protocols to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
• Coordinate briefings and stakeholder engagements at national and international levels to align financial intelligence requirements.
