Oncology Case Manager (2 positions)

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate and clinically‑focused Oncology Case Manager to join Bestmed Medical Scheme’s Oncology Disease Management Programme in Pretoria. The role involves coordinating care for members with cancer, ensuring quality and appropriate treatment while managing clinical and financial risks for the scheme.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage oncology cases within the disease‑management programme to limit scheme risk.
• Identify gaps in care pathways and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, guidelines and service‑level agreements.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to support member‑centred care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with scheme requirements.

Required profile

• Grade 12 diploma in Nursing.
• Minimum five years of clinical nursing experience.
• At least two years of experience in oncology disease management.
• Active registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
