On-Camera Host / Presenter

About the role

Daily Media Group runs a growing portfolio of online media brands covering mental health, personal development and wellness, with newsletters reaching hundreds of thousands of readers daily. It is looking for a natural conversationalist to become its on-camera face, interviewing experts across niches for podcasts, online events and video content. The role is remote, at 4 hours per day with flexible daily hours.

Key responsibilities

• Host on-camera interviews for podcasts, video interviews and online events
• Research each guest thoroughly and prepare a question flow that goes beyond the obvious
• Lead natural conversations with active listening, smart follow-ups and the ability to redirect
• Host live online events such as webinars, panels and Q&As
• Work with the content team to spot clippable moments, strong hooks and shareable insights
• Represent the brand professionally on camera at all times
• Review own footage and study great interviewers to keep improving

Required profile

• Proven on-camera experience: videos, online events, podcasts or interviews, shown by sample footage
• Natural conversationalist who genuinely enjoys talking to people
• No camera shyness: comfortable live, on recorded video and in front of audiences
• Strong research skills, able to prepare for an expert in a field unknown the week before
• Fluent, clear, confident English
• Presentable and professional on every recording: grooming, wardrobe, background and lighting

Nice to have

• Basic video/audio setup knowledge (framing, mic technique)
• Experience growing an audience on YouTube, podcasts or social media
• Experience coordinating guests and making experts feel comfortable
