Omnichannel Commercial Operations Specialist

About the role

The Specialist – Area Omnichannel Commercial Operations will drive channel planning, sales execution and compliance across the Polokwane region. You will act as the bridge between trade partners and head‑office, ensuring the delivery of promotional, merchandising and customer experience initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update quarterly and weekly tactical plans aligned to segment and consumer goals.
• Execute sales, promotional and visual merchandising strategies in general trade and monitor competitor activity.
• Manage informal partner relationships to drive acquisition, activation and customer experience, including forecasting stock and POS needs.
• Supervise channel partners and distributors, ensuring call‑cycle compliance, training delivery and daily inspections.
• Track KPIs, analyse trends and provide timely reporting to stakeholders while ensuring audit readiness.
• Support budget planning, identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement in processes.

Required profile

• 3‑year Degree or Diploma in Commerce (Marketing/Communication) or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in channel management or omnichannel environments, with supervisory responsibilities.
• Proven ability to manage dual‑channel models across large geographies.
