Occupational Therapist (Locum)

About the role
We are seeking qualified Occupational Therapists to join our professional healthcare network for locum assignments in Cape Town and surrounding areas. This role offers flexible, short‑term placements where you can provide essential therapy services to diverse patient populations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments
- Develop and implement individualised treatment programmes
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress
- Assist patients in improving functional independence
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and caregivers
Required profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
- Valid professional registration and good standing
- Previous clinical experience will be advantageous
- Good assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Reliable and professional
