Occupational Health Nurse

About the role

A growing organisation is looking for a qualified and experienced Occupational Health Nurse to provide professional occupational health services across various client sites. The successful candidate must be confident working independently, have strong attention to detail, and be able to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre-employment and periodic medical examinations.
• Provide off-site occupational health services at mining and client sites.
• Organise and manage medical assessments and travel to client locations.
• Conduct Spirometry and Audiometry assessments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and mining health requirements.
• Work independently and efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
• Travel to various client sites as required.

Required profile

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Occupational Health role.
• Competent and trained in conducting Spirometry and Audiometry.
• Experience with occupational health compliance and medical assessments.
• Code 14 driver's licence is an advantage.
• Fluent in Afrikaans.
• Reliable and practical plan for relocation if required.
