Occupational Health Nurse – Fixed Term (25 hrs/week)

About the role

An FTC vacancy exists for an Occupational Health Nurse to work 25 hours per week, reporting to the Business Manager. The role is based at the Occupational Health clinic in Tulisa Park, Boksburg and focuses on delivering high‑quality occupational health services that exceed client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an Occupational Health programme that promotes the physical, psychological and social well‑being of workers in a safe environment.
• Monitor employee health status through ongoing surveillance programmes in line with SOPs.
• Provide clients with information to eliminate, control and minimise health risks and hazards.
• Coordinate emergency procedures and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
• Deliver primary healthcare services, maintain and calibrate clinic equipment, and manage accurate, confidential filing.

Required profile

• General Nursing qualification plus Occupational Health Nursing B Tech/Diploma with 2‑3 years post‑graduation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Current registration with the SANC and an additional Occupational Health qualification listed on the SANC receipt.
• Certificates in dispensing, spirometry, audiometry (registered with SASOHN), vision screening and BLS.
• Strong computer literacy and experience in administration and employee relations.
