Nursing Practitioner – Clinic Management & Patient Care

About the role

Build and manage a commercially viable clinic at Clicks Gardens Centre, delivering professional health services in line with South African Nursing Council regulations and company policies. The role combines patient care, service promotion and operational management to ensure high standards and financial sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and deliver a range of clinic services including lifestyle screenings, well‑baby clinics, immunisations, reproductive health, minor ailments, wound care and phlebotomy.
• Counsel patients on health information, weight management and refer them to pharmacists or other health professionals as needed.
• Maintain secure, confidential electronic patient records and ensure payment collection for all services.
• Oversee clinic administration, schedule locums, and produce accurate financial and stock reports.
• Manage stock, monitor the cold chain and implement safety precautions for medical supplies.
• Develop health professional networks and coordinate health‑days or ad‑hoc projects to enhance commercial viability.
• Handle adverse events and emergencies professionally.

Required profile

• Registered Nursing Practitioner with the South African Nursing Council.
• Minimum three years of practical experience in community health, primary health or midwifery.
• Strong integrity, ability to work independently and customer‑service orientation.
• Financial and commercial acumen with proactive attention to detail.

Required skills

• MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Computer literacy.
