Key responsibilities

• Draft and review tax opinions, submissions and legal arguments.
• Engage with SARS on audits, verifications, objections and appeals.
• Interpret and apply tax legislation to commercial scenarios.
• Collaborate with tax specialists, accountants and senior advisors on advisory and structuring matters.
• Prepare and review legal documentation related to complex tax issues.
• Stay up‑to‑date with legislative developments and emerging tax topics.

Required profile

• Admitted attorney with a clear interest in tax law.
• Comfortable working in a high‑performance, accountability‑driven environment.
• Excellent legal research, drafting and analytical abilities.
