New Business Sales Executive

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced New Business Sales Executive to drive growth in the Office Automation and business technology market. This role focuses on prospecting, acquiring new clients and expanding the portfolio of solutions offered, rather than managing an existing customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through cold calling, referrals and self‑generated appointments.
• Conduct client meetings, needs analyses and present tailored solutions.
• Develop opportunities from initial engagement through quotation, negotiation and close.
• Achieve monthly gross‑profit and product‑sales targets.
• Maintain a qualified sales pipeline and update activities in the CRM.
• Cross‑sell Office Automation, PABX, connectivity and document‑management solutions.
• Collaborate with internal specialists on complex technical proposals.

Required profile

• Proven new‑business salesperson with a strong hunter mentality.
• Comfortable prospecting and generating own appointments.
• Commercially confident, target‑driven and experienced in consultative selling.
• Ability to build relationships with business owners and decision‑makers.
• Organised, disciplined in CRM and pipeline management.
• Professional, accountable and able to work independently.
