About the role
Red Ember Recruitment is seeking an experienced New Business Sales Executive on behalf of a leading South African courier and logistics company. The role focuses on identifying new B2B opportunities, building client relationships and driving revenue growth within the assigned territory.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect and generate leads through networking, market research and industry events.
- Conduct sales presentations, solution discussions and commercial negotiations.
- Prepare tailored logistics and courier proposals, pricing solutions and respond to tenders.
- Convert prospects into active customers and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
- Maintain accurate sales records and reporting using CRM and sales systems.
- Monitor competitor activity and develop market intelligence.
Required profile
- Proven track record in B2B sales, business development or customer acquisition.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand client requirements and propose tailored logistics solutions.
- Results‑driven mindset with a focus on meeting sales targets.
Required skills
- Experience using CRM and sales reporting tools.
