New Business Consultant – Sales (Durban)

About the role

As a New Business Consultant you will help grow Healthbridge by delivering quality sales that turn into profitable client relationships. You will also provide valuable input to shape the company’s evolving value proposition.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a high‑quality sales pipeline.
• Identify and acquire new clients and business opportunities in the private healthcare IT sector.
• Consistently achieve sales targets.
• Schedule, conduct and manage sales appointments.
• Demonstrate and position Healthbridge’s value proposition authoritatively.
• Develop and nurture relationships with doctors and key industry stakeholders.
• Accurately update systems and complete required administrative reporting.
• Provide feedback to help refine the value proposition based on field experience.
• Travel daily across the assigned territory using own vehicle.

Required profile

• National Senior Certificate (Matric) qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of direct sales experience in the private healthcare information‑technology sector.
• Proven ability to follow sales methodologies and close deals.
• Strong knowledge of Healthbridge products, services and pricing, with a commitment to continuous learning.
• Excellent industry knowledge, especially around specialist healthcare solutions.
• Disciplined approach to pipeline building and relationship management.
• Effective collaboration across internal teams.
• Conflict‑resolution skills and ability to build trust with key stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and at least one other official language.
• Self‑motivated, strategic thinker with a growth‑mindset and tech‑savvy attitude.
