Network Team Lead – Technical Leadership Role

Ready to move from technical expert to technical leader? Tangent Connect, part of Jurumani Solutions, is seeking a Network Team Lead / Junior Manager to become the second‑in‑command to the Network Manager / Practice Lead, Cloud Networking. The role is hands‑on, keeping you close to technology while you lead a team, influence customers and help shape a growing Cloud Networking practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Network Engineers.
• Oversee networking projects and managed services across LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, WLAN, VPN and security.
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex issues.
• Provide technical leadership across Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet and Huawei environments.
• Engage directly with customers and key stakeholders, contributing to solution design and project delivery.
• Help build repeatable architectures, standards and engineering playbooks to support the growth of the Cloud Networking practice.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on networking and infrastructure experience.
• 2+ years of experience leading teams, projects or technical resources.
• Strong enterprise networking background with experience in Cisco, Meraki and/or Huawei.
• Relevant IT, Telecommunications or Computer Science qualification; CCNA required.
• Experience in managed services, NOC or consulting environments is advantageous.
• Exposure to mining, industrial or remote site environments is highly advantageous.
