Network Security Engineer (Level 3)

About the role

The role focuses on designing, implementing and managing advanced network security solutions for enterprise clients, working closely with sales teams and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist sales teams with technical scoping, solution design and client‑facing presentations to architect tailored network security solutions.
• Design, configure and maintain Netskope Secure Service Edge modules (NG‑SWG, CASB, ZTNA, DLP) and integrate them into SASE architectures.
• Deploy, tune and manage CrowdStrike Falcon agents, including policy optimisation and threat‑exclusion handling.
• Administer Mimecast services, manage DMARC, DKIM and SPF records and oversee email content filtering and archiving.
• Manage perimeter firewalls, VPNs and network segmentation, ensuring alignment with security policies.
• Streamline log ingestion from Netskope, CrowdStrike and Mimecast into a centralised SIEM/SOAR platform and act as the final escalation point for incidents.
• Mentor junior team members, share technical knowledge and maintain industry certifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Level 3 engineer with extensive Tier 3 support and incident response background.
• Strong track record supporting sales teams through technical scoping and solution architecture.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for mentoring, vendor relationship management and client interaction.
• Commitment to maintaining relevant security certifications and staying current on emerging threats.
