.NET MAUI Developer – Hybrid Contract

About the role

We are looking for a skilled .NET MAUI Developer to join our Cape Town team on a hybrid contract basis. You will be responsible for creating a robust terminal application that runs on Android devices equipped with PAX hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build a .NET MAUI terminal application targeting Android on PAX devices.
• Integrate payment, fleet, and mobile‑money back‑ends, as well as PAX SDKs for card readers, printers, and other peripherals.
• Own features from specification discussions through on‑device testing and deployment.
• Conduct testing on physical PAX terminals at our Cape Town office.
• Contribute to overall architecture and guide technical direction.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of commercial .NET/C# development experience.
• Proven delivery experience with .NET MAUI or Xamarin Forms.
• Hands‑on Android development experience, including native interop and hardware SDK work.
• Daily use of AI‑assisted coding tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Android deployment is a plus.
