National Sales Representative – FMCG

About the role

We are seeking a National Sales Representative to drive FMCG sales across Gauteng and KwaZulu‑Natal. The role involves managing relationships with manufacturers, bakeries and food distributors, delivering volume growth and meeting sales targets. Candidates may be based in Johannesburg with regular travel to KZN, or based in KZN covering the territory directly.

Key responsibilities

• Visit and service manufacturers, bakeries and food distributors to secure orders and negotiate trade terms.
• Develop and maintain distributor relationships, focusing on volume negotiations and trade‑term compliance.
• Prepare sales forecasts and regular performance reports for management.
• Collaborate with internal logistics and marketing teams to ensure product availability and promotional support.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of sales experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or distribution channels.
• Strong understanding of trade terms, volume negotiations and distributor relationship management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in competitive markets.

What we offer

• Salary ranging from R25 000 to R35 000 per month (CTC).
• Guaranteed commission for the first six months.
