National Sales & Marketing Manager – Medical Device

About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for a National Sales & Marketing Manager to lead the sales and marketing function of a well‑known medical device company in Johannesburg North. Candidates with experience in nuclear/radio‑pharmacy or medical device sales management are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, measure and execute the national sales and marketing strategy for the nuclear/radio‑pharmacy and medical device portfolio.
• Lead the Business Unit Strategic Plan in collaboration with senior leadership and ensure alignment with group objectives.
• Manage the day‑to‑day performance of the sales team, including budgeting, forecasting and territory planning.
• Drive educational activities, congresses, workshops and customer training to support product adoption.
• Oversee product registration, funding approvals and market access processes.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or medical‑management qualification (advantageous).
• 3–5 years of sales and marketing management experience, preferably in medical devices or nuclear/radio‑pharmacy.
• Established clinical and product knowledge with existing customer relationships.
• Proven ability to prepare strategic marketing plans and manage budgets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Ariba and Tradeworld procurement systems.
• Experience using Nappi coding for product registration.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen for budgeting and forecasting.
