National Distribution Business Development Manager

About the role

An established technology business is looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager to grow its MSP partner network through established distribution channels. This individual contributor role works independently without a regional team and requires frequent travel between Cape Town and KwaZulu‑Natal.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit and onboard new MSP partners.
• Activate dormant and development‑stage accounts.
• Build distributor‑led pipelines and revenue.
• Support partners through early‑stage sales opportunities.
• Drive partner enablement and recurring revenue growth.
• Manage pipeline, forecasting and conversion KPIs.
• Gather market and competitor intelligence.

Required profile

• Matric qualification; tertiary qualification advantageous.
• Solid experience in channel sales, business development or IT distribution.
• Proven experience within IT distributors and MSP ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of SaaS and recurring revenue models.
• Experience in cloud backup, disaster recovery or cybersecurity.
• Proven partner recruitment, prospecting and account development capability.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
