About the role

Icebolethu Burials, part of Icebolethu Group, is looking for a permanent Mortuary Supervisor. The position is based in various areas and supports the Burial Services by overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of employees, ensuring team efficiency and building a positive environment.

Key responsibilities

Mortuary maintenance
Manage all customer requirements according to Service Level Agreements
Attend to and resolve client and customer queries
Coach, guide and mentor staff
Apply disciplinary measures where necessary
Plan and allocate work to create efficiencies
Maintain attendance and leave rosters and registers

Required profile

Grade 12; a Diploma or Degree in Management is advantageous
2 years of mortuary supervisor experience at a supervisor level
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

Required skills

Computer literacy in the Microsoft Office suite
