Mobile Team Leader

About the role

Hollywoodbets is looking for a Mobile Team Leader to join its Purple Team in Thembisile, Mpumalanga. You will lead a group of mobile clerks, drive sales performance, and support marketing initiatives across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage achievement of sales targets and branch growth in line with operational procedures.
• Collaborate with Area Managers to meet targets for active and qualified accounts.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns with the Area Manager and Marketing Team.
• Facilitate daily promotional activities and ensure marketing materials are ready for regional and national campaigns.
• Measure promotion effectiveness using Promo Tracker and report ROI.
• Conduct market analysis and provide improvement recommendations.
• Recruit, interview, and coordinate induction for new mobile clerks.
• Set daily targets, conduct performance reviews, and handle HR/IR functions including PIP management.
• Oversee cash‑up procedures, report shortages, and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Deliver weekly training via Moodle/Betstrike and Voice Note platforms.
• Provide day‑to‑day operational support to Area Managers and produce daily reports.
• Manage team leave, absenteeism, attendance, and stock levels.
• Support the rollout and branding of Top‑Up Voucher outlets across distributor networks.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of people management experience.
• Valid Manual Divers License.
• 1‑3 years of sales experience.
