About the role
We are seeking a trade‑tested Millwright to maintain, fault‑find, repair and continuously improve the mechanical and electrical equipment across our MegaPlant in the Cape Winelands. This hands‑on, factory‑floor role requires a highly efficient, technically proficient professional who can work independently and deliver reliable plant performance.
Key responsibilities
- Respond rapidly to production breakdowns and diagnose mechanical, electrical, control and process faults.
- Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.
- Carry out preventative and planned maintenance, including bearing installation, alignment, lubrication and equipment mounting.
- Test equipment before returning it to production and record significant failures.
- Support shutdowns, major maintenance projects and critical spare‑part planning.
Required profile
- Trade‑tested Millwright with 5–10+ years post‑trade experience.
- Industrial/manufacturing maintenance background.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding ability.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and read mechanical/electrical drawings.
- High standard of workmanship, safety and reliability.

- Three‑phase electrical systems, MCCs, contactors, overloads
- Variable Speed Drives (VSDs)
- Sensors, limit switches, interlocks
- Basic PLC fault finding and PLC I/O
- Automated production equipment
