Mid‑Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Barrows is seeking a Mid‑Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead both projects and people within its fast‑moving point‑of‑sale solutions team. You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and ensure high‑quality delivery of mechanical designs.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and coach junior design engineers and graduates.
• Make critical decisions by understanding production process flows and product designs.
• Plan and organise engineering activities to meet on‑time delivery targets.
• Collaborate with industrial design, sales, marketing, electronics engineers and manufacturers.
• Maintain the highest quality output within limited time frames.

Required profile

• Team‑player with strong mentoring and coaching abilities.
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering within product development.
• Ability to understand and manage the full product development lifecycle.
• Strong decision‑making skills and attention to detail.
