Middle Office Specialist

About the role

Amidel is seeking a highly motivated Middle Office Specialist to join its growing team. The role supports clients across trade life‑cycle events, ensures accurate product valuation, and helps resolve profit and loss discrepancies. It requires strong analytical abilities and a solid understanding of financial instruments and market dynamics.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in performing trade life cycle events throughout the trade life cycle.
• Remediate Profit and Loss discrepancies and find permanent solutions to recurring issues.
• Participate in new product approval processes, ensuring correct valuation and appropriate market data.
• Analyze data from trading systems for valuation, risk, and profit & loss perspectives.
• Contribute to benchmark reform projects by creating new market data and mapping it to products.
• Build controls around all key processes.

• Understanding of deal flow processes and rationale behind procedures.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Effective team player with strong communication skills.
• Business acumen and market awareness.

Required skills

• Knowledge of XVA concepts.
• Experience with MultiCurve bootstrapping.
• Familiarity with CSA‑aware discounting.
