MFC Sales Manager

About the role

Old Mutual is looking for a motivated MFC Sales Manager to lead and develop its sales team in the region. The role focuses on driving growth of the MFC product portfolio, building strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and motivate a team of sales professionals to exceed MFC sales targets.
• Design and execute direct‑selling strategies and action plans to capture new opportunities.
• Conduct client needs assessments and propose tailored financial solutions.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and identify growth areas.
• Apply consultative selling techniques to build long‑term trust with customers.
• Ensure high‑quality customer service, promptly handling inquiries and issues.
• Drive upselling of additional MFC products and services.
• Monitor performance, report results to senior management and adjust plans as needed.
• Champion change‑management initiatives to keep the sales team agile.
• Utilise sales software and CRM tools to manage pipelines and analyse data.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales management, preferably within financial services or insurance.
• Demonstrated expertise in direct, consultative and upselling techniques.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to spot sales opportunities.
• Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and drive performance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with sales software and CRM systems.
