Merchandiser – Zevenwacht Mall (Cape Town)

About the role

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a Merchandiser for its Zevenwacht Mall store in Kuilsriver, Cape Town. You will ensure that the company’s merchandising standards are executed and maintained while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Restock merchandise to maximise sales and maintain full product range on shelves.
• Store and pack delivered stock correctly and ensure timely placement.
• Monitor sell‑by dates and rotate stock on a FIFO basis.
• Report low stock, damaged or expired items to management.
• Maintain planograms, correct labeling and pricing on all products.
• Assist with stock counting, loading and off‑loading of boxes.
• Provide friendly, helpful assistance and advice to customers.
• Ensure uniform and badge are worn and adhere to health‑and‑safety rules.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• Up to 6 months retail experience (advantageous 1 year).
• Computer literate – proficient with MS Office.
• Strong command of English and presentable appearance.
• Effective engagement with customers, management and staff.
