Member of Technical Staff – Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff specialized in Legal Research to join a global software leader. Working remotely, you will bridge law and technology, providing deep legal analysis that informs product development and ensures regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law to guide product decisions.
• Design and build technical frameworks or tools that automate legal research workflows.
• Partner with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed legal insights into product design.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology solutions.
• Produce clear technical documentation and compliance guidelines for development teams.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Proven experience in legal research, regulatory analysis, and compliance.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into actionable technical requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
