Media Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Media Coordinator to oversee quality control, lay‑back and delivery of localized media content, including dubbed and subtitled video, for our global client base. The role works closely with in‑house post‑production teams, translators and audio engineers to ensure on‑spec, high‑quality deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Manage lay‑back workflows, synchronising dubbed audio, subtitles and other media elements.
• Perform detailed QC checks on video and audio deliverables.
• Verify that all assets meet technical specifications and platform requirements.
• Coordinate delivery of final files such as masters, mixes and subtitle files.
• Track project status, troubleshoot issues and maintain schedules across functions.
• Use media asset management tools to track versions and archive projects.

Required profile

• 1–3+ years of experience in post‑production, media delivery or localisation workflows.
• Degree in Film/Media Production, Audio Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in both Afrikaans and English.

Required skills

• Pro Tools.
• MS Office.
• Media editing software on Mac and Windows platforms.
