About the role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join a well‑established engineering company in Pretoria. The role focuses on designing mechanical components, performing finite element analysis, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver engineering solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems.
- Conduct and interpret Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations to validate designs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver engineering solutions.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards and project specifications.
- Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Required profile
- BEng, BSc or BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years post‑graduate experience in mechanical design.
- Proven experience with Finite Element Analysis.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Required skills
- ANSYS (essential).
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
