Mechanic – 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract in Century City

About the role

The role involves delivering high‑quality service and repair work on vehicles, ensuring first‑time right outcomes while working efficiently. This is a three‑month fixed‑term contract based in Century City, Cape Town.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repairs according to authorised work orders using the latest technical information.
• Utilise the correct tools and equipment and adhere to manufacturer specifications.
• Accurately report faults and completed work, following manufacturer instructions.
• Protect customer vehicles with fender and seat covers and drive safely when testing.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Required profile

• Matric Certificate, unendorsed driver’s licence, and a trade certificate.
• Minimum five years of experience in automotive mechanics; auto‑electrical experience is advantageous.
• Experience working in an RMI workshop and strong mechanical/product knowledge.
• Ability to read manuals, operate special equipment, and basic computer literacy.
• Physical fitness to meet job demands and willingness to work flexible hours or overtime.

What we offer
