Mechanic – 3-Month Contract (Cape Town & Gauteng)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician for a three‑month contract to join our workshop team serving the Cape Town and Gauteng areas. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality service, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on passenger vehicles while upholding manufacturer standards and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain, diagnose and repair a range of passenger vehicles.
• Complete accurate job cards and warranty documentation for each task.
• Maintain workshop safety, cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers regarding vehicle status and recommendations.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification and a Code 08 driver’s licence.
• Minimum five years’ experience in an RMI workshop or a similar automotive environment.
• Proven track record in passenger vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with workshop management software.
• Auto‑electrical knowledge is advantageous.
