Material Control Administrator

About the role

The Material Control Administrator will support our client’s plastics manufacturing operations by managing invoicing, delivery planning, and pallet logistics. You will act as the liaison between customers, transport providers, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and generate customer invoices based on the delivery plan.
• Maintain and update the delivery schedule with confirmed dates.
• Plan daily deliveries, matching customer requests with available transport.
• Arrange transport with approved vendors and follow up on proof of delivery (POD) in Syspro.
• Manage the CHEP pallet account, including transfers and reconciliations.
• Execute inter‑branch transfer transactions and monitor the Good‑in‑Transit account.
• Investigate discrepancies between shipping logs and invoice registers.
• Capture stock‑take data for warehouses and assist with order entry in Syspro.
• Prepare load control documents and coordinate stock picking.
• Review transporter invoices against agreed rate schedules and debrief PODs for any issues.

Required profile

• Matric (high school) qualification; additional logistics qualifications are a plus.
• 2–3 years of invoicing and logistics experience in FMCG markets.
• Proven experience with CHEP pallet transfer and reconciliation.
• Hands‑on experience using the Syspro ERP system.
