Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Marketing Specialist will support the Head of Brand and Communication in executing the company’s marketing strategy. This role involves delivering both internal and external marketing initiatives and working closely with cross‑functional teams across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support for marketing and communications activities.
• Coordinate planning and execution of internal and external marketing events.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of company and marketing projects to ensure timely, efficient outcomes.
• Manage social media content creation and campaign execution.
• Prepare layout and production briefs for design assets, adhering to corporate brand guidelines.
• Oversee production and distribution of monthly and quarterly company reports, ensuring brand consistency.
• Build, implement and distribute email and SMS campaigns via the CRM system.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a marketing and communications environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or NQF 6 qualification in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or a related field.
• Knowledge of marketing principles and proven ability to establish new networks and collaborative relationships.
• Experience in the financial services sector is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, planning and organisational skills, and a proactive, results‑driven attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Everlytic or Click Dimensions).
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
