Marketing Manager / Junior CMO – In‑House Growth Engineer

About the role

Take full ownership of an in‑house marketing ecosystem, driving multi‑channel growth campaigns for a portfolio of healthcare clinics and an upcoming electronic health‑records software product. You will act as a hands‑on Growth Engineer and a “CMO in training”, shaping the company’s internal marketing function as it moves away from external agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and scale the in‑house marketing engine across multiple businesses, owning the full marketing ecosystem.
• Strategise, launch and manage end‑to‑end go‑to‑market campaigns across SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, email marketing and LinkedIn outreach.
• Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) and marketing technologies to automate workflows, optimise cost per acquisition and drive growth.
• Build and mentor a marketing team as the business expands, with a trajectory toward a Chief Marketing Officer role.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on marketing experience with a strong portfolio of campaign results.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within team environments.
• Experience transitioning marketing activities from external agencies to internal functions.
• Familiarity with modern project‑management and communication tools such as ClickUp, Google Suite, Google Chats and WhatsApp.

What we offer

• Salary range R65,000 – R85,000+ per month (visible)
• 6‑month probation period
