About the role

Tangle Teezer, a global hair‑care brand within BIC World, is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives across Southern and East Africa. The role supports the sales team, launches new products, and ensures marketing activities align with the brand’s vision and growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to provide operational tools and support.
• Organise status meetings with agencies to keep promotions on schedule and within budget.
• Conduct monthly marketing meetings to align point‑of‑sale strategies.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan that meets sales targets.
• Compile and launch marketing campaigns based on approved agency pitches.
• Research market viability for new product ideas and decide on product launches.
• Create packaging concepts for new products when required.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the Southern and East African marketplace and manage distributor marketing through the CEA Area Business Manager.
• Monitor IRI reports and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Lead media relations, ensuring PR coverage for innovations and community initiatives.
• Manage advertising agencies and external suppliers to achieve high performance.
• Coordinate cost‑effective marketing efforts while keeping expenditures within budget.
• Track key performance indicators and ensure timely delivery of marketing initiatives.
