Manufacturing Engineer – Rigid Plastic Packaging

About the role

Our client, a leading manufacturer of high‑quality rigid plastic packaging, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production and drive engineering projects. You will ensure reliable, efficient processes that deliver quality products for personal care, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and household sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Industrialise and maintain product processes to achieve effective startups and sustainable production.
• Gather and analyse process data, identify trends, and propose improvements.
• Monitor machine reliability, perform corrective actions, and control scrap levels.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, GMP, and Food Safety System Certification (FSSC).
• Maintain equipment, manage technical inventory, and coordinate purchases.
• Train setting and processing teams on best practices and new software tools.
• Document work processes, changes, and outcomes accurately.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in blow‑moulding.
• Clear criminal record and adherence to sober habits.

• Blow‑moulding process knowledge.
• Basic data analysis for process optimisation.
• Equipment maintenance and reliability management.
