Managing Counsel – Commercial (EMEA)

About the role

Remote is seeking a senior, business‑oriented commercial lawyer to join its Employment, Product and Commercial Legal sub‑team. As Managing Counsel – Commercial (EMEA), you will act as an independent senior lawyer, supporting global commercial deals and ensuring seamless legal coverage for the EMEA sales organization.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise‑level SaaS agreements, Terms of Service, and sales contracts.
• Support embedded partnerships, reseller, and other channel arrangements.
• Provide critical legal assistance to the EMEA sales team, collaborating with sales and DP counsel.
• Structure and negotiate strategic partnership and channel agreements.
• Maintain commercial drafting standards that protect Remote while facilitating business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in commercial transactions, especially enterprise SaaS agreements.
• Experience supporting sales teams in the EMEA region.
• Strong background in partnership, channel, or reseller agreements (a plus).
• Familiarity with HR‑tech services agreements is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent negotiation skills and sharp commercial instincts.
