Maintenance Technician

About the role

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join its Production department in Midrand. The successful candidate will support the reliability of plant equipment through both preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on production equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules and respond to corrective maintenance requests.
• Perform equipment inspections and condition monitoring to identify early signs of wear.
• Utilise the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log work orders and track maintenance history.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and OEM documentation to guide repairs.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards during all tasks.
• Support root‑cause analysis investigations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance within an industrial setting.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed maintenance procedures.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
