Maintenance & Reliability Engineer

About the role

The Maintenance & Reliability Engineer will join the Pretoria team of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager. The role focuses on improving plant reliability and optimizing maintenance performance through proactive, risk‑based strategies and engineering best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement reliability improvement programmes to reduce equipment failures.
• Apply risk‑based maintenance planning and condition‑monitoring techniques.
• Analyse CMMS data to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient asset operation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote engineering best practices across the plant.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience in maintenance and reliability.
• Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably within the beverage sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret maintenance data.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work across departments.
